Visual Quality Alert Service

Visual Quality Alert Service is a Windows Service which is installed and executed on the server in a client/server setup. 

When the service is started, it will run continuously until it is stopped again or uninstalled. The service performs three tasks which are described below.

Send documents to historic

Every 10. minutes (or the intertal configured in Visual Quality Configuration Utility) the service sends approved documents which are no longer valid to historic.

Send reminders for document actions

Every 10. minutes (or the interval configured in Visual Quality Configuration Utility) the service checks the reminder date/time for all document actions and sends a reminder (email) in case the reminder date/time has been exceeded.

Send reminders about new valid documents

Every 24 hours, the service checks if new approved documents have become valid and sends a reminder (email) to all users which should read these documents (required reading).
