Visual Quality - Roles


The module Roles allows you to create and maintain roles in the quality management system.

The picture below shows the module Roles in Visual Quality.


By default the module uses the view Simple list, but you can get more detailed information by choosing the view Detailed list in the toolbar.

Creating a role

You can create a new role in the current folder by choosing the command New in the toolbar. The data sheet for the new role appears.

The General tab


Id. Id for the role. This is unique within the folder, hence two roles cannot share the same Id.

Name. The role's name.

Description. Description of the role. Use the built-in HTML editor for this.
 

The Statistics tab

The 4 fields on this tab page are automatically filled out when the qualification is saved. These fields cannot be edited.

You save the data for the qualification by chosing the command Save and Close in the toolbar.
Esc cancels your changes and closes the window.

Editing a role

You open the data sheet for the role by chosing the command Open in the toolbar.

Create relations to Users and Qualifications

Click the command Relationships in the context menu for the selected role to create relations to Users and Qualifications:


In this dialog you can create relationships to users and qualifications for the selected role using the button > and remove existing relations by selecting them in the list to the right and click the button <.
