Thanks: 1 times
I have just tried to install VQE on my laptop which has Window 7, but with no success:-(

At the end of the installation process, I got two message boxes saying that some files (dll) failed to register. I had the option to abort the installation or to ignore the errors. Abort was the default so I chose that. Now I am left with an incomplete installation. I can see that the files (or at least some of them) are installed but I cannot start VQE so something must be wrong!

Any help is appreciated!!!!

Hi Imamish

I had the exact same problem. The trick is to click the Ignore button instead of the Abort button. This ensures that the installation is completed but that the file is not overwritten (or registered). I think it is because the files in question are installed and protected by the operating system.

I assume you are installing version 8 or earlier, because this is fixed in version 8.1

Hope this helps
